the <\/span><b>green and circular economy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> therefore seeks to extend the life cycle of goods already produced as much as possible, through their reuse or a design scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  is configured on a wheel that follows the following steps: Raw materials, sustainable design, production\/reprocessing, distribution, consumption, use, repair, reuse; collection, recycling and introduction of that recycled material into the loop through the design phase, except for the small percentage of material that constitutes residual waste that is not usable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This would be the outline of a <\/span><b>regenerative circular economy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that seeks to alleviate the excesses of the current model and lay the foundations for a system that is sustainable over time and conducive to the environment and human health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the Ellen MacArthur Foundation <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ellenmacarthurfoundation.org\/es\/temas\/presentacion-economia-circular\/vision-general\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ellen Macarthur Foundation<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on its website, the <\/span><b>circular economy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is based on three principles, all made possible by a design phase based on strong environmental principles and capable of tackling the problem at its root:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eliminate waste and contamination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote the circularity of products and materials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regenerate nature.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/es\/press-room\/20220401IPR26537\/derecho-a-reparar-el-pe-quiere-productos-mas-duraderos-y-faciles-de-reparar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fight against planned obsolescence<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The fight against programmed obsolescence launched by the European Parliament would be part of the package of measures intended to promote this model.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Today, we&#8217;re going to focus on one based on the  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">product ecodesign<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The fact is that designing an asset according to sustainability criteria may involve  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">an 80% reduction of its environmental impact<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  associated with the different phases of the product&#8217;s life cycle: production, use, etc. Organizations know this, which is why many have begun to embrace solutions that define them as  <\/span><b>companies with circular economy.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairphone.com\/es\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fairphone<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  is a Dutch company that produces cell phones, a mass consumer good traditionally linked to the &#8220;throwaway&#8221; model. But it does so from the perspective of sustainability at all levels: social, environmental and economic.  <\/span><b>example of circular economy linked to the company<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To achieve this efficiently, they bring to market products with longer and easily repairable service lives. In fact, your Smartphones are  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designed under a modular approach<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system is designed so that each part of the phone can be easily replaced by an identical one in case of failure or wear and tear. The company has a  <\/span><i><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">supply of recycled materials<\/span><br \/>\n<\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The idea is to make the mobile hardware last as long as possible and to keep it up to date. In the case of new devices, the company undertakes to use  <\/span><i><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fairer, recycled and responsibly sourced materials.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are many other companies <\/span><b>companies that use the circular economy and, fortunately, their <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and, fortunately, their number is growing with each passing week.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3213112 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3213112\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Circular economy Spain<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-deefbe3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"deefbe3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the national level, the drive towards this new production and consumption model is based on the Spanish Circular Economy Strategy. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/es\/calidad-y-evaluacion-ambiental\/temas\/economia-circular\/estrategia\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spanish Circular Economy Strategy<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and specific action plans involving administrations, citizens and companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The I Circular Economy <\/span><b>Circular Economy Action Plan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contains 116 measures of a vertical nature, i.e., that fall under the responsibility of different ministries to achieve satisfactory results by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some Autonomous Regions have also approved action plans to promote the circular economy. <\/span><b>circular economy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in strategic sectors, among which the following stand out <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihobe.eus\/actualidad\/gobierno-vasco-aprueba-primer-plan-economia-circular-y-bioeconomia-para-impulsar-eficiencia-en-consumo-materias-primas-reducir\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basque Country<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which also has a specific <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euskadi.eus\/documentacion\/2020\/estrategia-de-economia-circular-de-euskadi-2030\/web01-a2ingkut\/es\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a specific strategy for 2030<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gobiernoabierto.navarra.es\/es\/gobernanza\/planes-y-programas-accion-gobierno\/agenda-para-desarrollo-economia-circular-navarra-2030\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navarra<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pactomundial.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UN Global Compact<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: numerous and undeniable, not only for society, but also for the business and productive fabric of any country.
