This initiative can transform the racing world as it evolves through its phases.<\/p>\n<h2>Phase 1: Measuring IoT Data to Optimize Performance.<\/h2>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>In the first research phase, we have launched an ambitious project whose main objective is to <strong>improve the performance<\/strong> of <em>racing vehicles<\/em> by <strong>managing<\/strong> key variables in <strong>real time<\/strong>. These variables include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>temperature<\/em> and <em>tire pressure<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><em>inertia<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><em>atmospheric data on vehicle<\/em> and <em>track<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><em>geopositioning<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><em>speed<\/em><\/li>\n<li>other fundamental parameters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>collection and analysis<\/strong> of this <em>data<\/em> in<strong>real<\/strong> time allows racing teams to <strong>adjust<\/strong> the vehicle set up <strong>accurately and quickly<\/strong>, which translates into a significant <strong>increase<\/strong> in their <strong>competitive capacity<\/strong>. Imagine a race car that adapts to changing track conditions and responds to every small variation in real time: this is what <strong>i3s<\/strong> is making possible.<\/p>\n<p>This project has been made possible thanks to the support and grants awarded by SPRI in 2021, as part of its HAZITEK program, financed by FEDER funds under reference number ZL-2021\/00865.<\/p>\n<h2>Phase 2: Integration of Big Data and Business Intelligence.<\/h2>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The second phase of this project is underway later this year and promises to take the capability and <strong>scope of the solution<\/strong> to the <strong>next<\/strong> level. At this stage, i3s will focus on the <strong>integration of<\/strong> <strong>Big Data and Business Intelligence<\/strong> management <strong>variables<\/strong>, as well as the development of <strong>predictive capabilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>incorporation of Big Data<\/em> will enable even <strong>more extensive<\/strong> data <strong>collection<\/strong>, providing a more complete and detailed view of the <em>performance of the vehicle<\/em> and its <em>environment<\/em>. <strong>Business<\/strong> Intelligence will enable competitive teams to make more informed decisions based on real-time, in-depth analysis of collected data.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <em>predictive capabilities<\/em> will open the door to <strong>anticipating problems<\/strong> and <strong>proactively tuning the vehicle<\/strong> to <strong>optimize its performance<\/strong> before any mishaps occur on the track.<\/p>\n<h3>Transforming the World of Racing.<\/h3>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>The i3s project to improve the performance of racing vehicles through real-time IoT data management is an example of how technology can transform a high-speed sport. The <strong>ability to adjust and optimize a vehicle<\/strong> in <em>real time<\/em>, backed by <strong>advanced data analysis<\/strong>, promises to take racing to a new level of excitement and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>With SPRI&#8217;s support and investment in cutting-edge technology, we are leading the way to a promising future for competitive vehicle racing.
